Pierre Chocolat hosts events for most major holidays and special events. In partnership with the Allenwood General Store, these events are open to the general public. You can stop on by and share a sandwich, drink, and a laugh with the Pierre Chocolat and Allenwood General Store families. And don’t forget to enjoy a delectable piece of chocolate for dessert!

For each holiday, the shop is festively decorated to get everyone into the holiday spirit. With activities for all ages, your visit to our events will leave you feeling satisfied in both mind and stomach!

February 14th is a day for love. And while you should cherish the love in your life all year long, this is the day to shout it from the rooftops, to show those in your life how much they mean to you. This love can take all forms, all shapes, and all sizes; from husbands and wives, to boyfriends and girlfriends, sister and brothers, to friends and coworker, you should tell those who mean the most to you how much you appreciate them.

Stuck for an idea of something special to do? On February 14th - Valentine's Day - bring the love of your life, whomever it may be, to Pierre Chocolat's Allenwood General Store location for a selection of decadent desserts that will prove to be "sweets for your sweet."

Halloween Haunted Walk-Thru - October 28th - 30th

Pierre Chocolat's Second Annual Halloween Party was a ghoulish delight. From 6.00PM until 10.00PM, October 28th through 30th, the Allenwood General Store and Pierre Chocolat was transformed into your greatest nightmare. The Halloween Walk-Thru bombarded each entrant with the ghosts of residents (and chocolate lovers) past.

If fear wasn't not on your agenda, no worries! We also had a Pumpkin Festival and Costume Party! Those who came costume and brought with them a painted or carved pumpkin were entered into either of the contests. And the prizes? Well, they were definitely sweet!

St. Patrick's Day - March 17th

On March 17th, we were all a little bit Irish. Pierre Chocolat, in conjuction with the Allenwood General Store, celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the most delectable of Irish cuisine (and dessert)! The day proved to be very lucky, allowing the Allenwood and Pierre Chocolat families to celebrate with the friends and family we have come to love over the years.

Dinner: Corn Beef & Cabbage, Boild Potatoes, and Carrots
Dessert: Irish Car Bomb Cake (Cake infused with Guinness, Bailey’s Buttercream, and Jameson Irish Whiskey Ganache)
Drinks: Coffe and Hot Chocolate

Valentine's Day Party - February 14th

On February 14th, boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives, families, and friends celebrated the sweetest day of the year at Pierre Chocolat. Savoring the sweetest treats and reveling in the love this day was founded on, our guests sampled three of Pierre’s most decadent desserts:

First Plate: Pots de Creme with a Passion Fruit Coulis
Second Plate: Flourless Chocolate Cake topped with poured Chocolate Ganache and fresh Raspberry Sauce (made with almond flower)
Third Plate: Dark and White Chocolate Mousse

And special thanks the Jennifer Mylod (www.jennifermylod.com), who’s soft violin music serenaded our guests throughout the night, adding an extra touch of romance to our event.
